Why are there so many unwatchable movies with Adam Sandler?

He has his fans, and whether you like his brand of humor or not doesn't really matter. It's what his fans think. Personally, I think most of his movies are pretty juvenile, but some, like The Waterboy or The Wedding Singer were pretty decent. read more

For all of the bad movies Adam Sandler has made, and there are so many bad movies, the nadir is this hateful, moronic, and despicable act against comedy and cinema. And that’s without even getting into the homophobia. read more

However, so many Adam Sandler movies, such as Grown Ups and Pixels, are just tedious, and that makes them almost unwatchable. Normally, the focus on normal people over ridiculous characters (which we’ll get onto in a minute) is less annoying, but replacing it with a slow-moving, humdrum story that doesn’t disguise the bad comedy is the big problem. read more
