Agreed with Frank. Wax worms are very high in fat, which makes them a tasty treat. But a diet consisting mainly of fatty insects can eventually kill a bearded dragon. Better choices are crickets, roaches (dubai and discord, if in FL), and various sizes of super worms (mini through large) depending on size of dragon. Make sure to offer a variety! And occasional treats of wax worms, horn worms, etc are relished! Make sure the live food is no larger than the space between your dragons eyes so they can eat safely. read more
