Why aren't there any Canadian teams in the NFL?

I would think it has most to do with the competition that already exists if the NFL were to go to Canada. Assuming the NFL wants a team in a big market, Toronto and Montreal would be the main choices. read more

Of course there are plenty of Canadian fans of Seattle teams, especially considering that Vancouver is so close and has no MLB or NFL team. But that doesn't mean a "huge chunk" of season ticket holders come from Canada. read more

Any NFL team that entered the Toronto market would have to deal with the Canadian Football League (CFL)'s Toronto Argonauts, as well as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, who play in nearby Hamilton, Ontario, both of which—as well as the CFL—have objected to a NFL team in Canada. read more
