Why aren't there miniature cat breeds, like with dogs?

I guess that depends on how you look at the breeds. Certainly there is not as much variation as with dogs, but dogs started off as wolves and were breed downward in size significantly. Wild cats are not that much bigger than our current domestic cat so there was not as great a desire to breed down in size. read more
