There are quite a few of these around here in Europe as well, but they do not wind up nearly as prominent in the news because there are no large trailer parks here, easily torn to pieces by even a EF1 or EF2 tornado. Most of these storms are not stronger than that, even in the U.S. most tornadoes are actually quite weak. read more

There aren't as many tornadoes in Europe because there usually isn't as much instability and the vertical wind shear required to produce rotating thunderstorms is rarely present. read more

One F1 tornado in Belarus on 12th and the next day there were 3 tornadoes, two in Belarus and one in Russia, the last one was an F3 tornado that travelled for 44 km and killed 2 people. On 14th an F0 tornado touched ground in Poland. read more
