Furthermore, even if someone had managed to convince 37 Republican electors to vote for Colin Powell (I don’t know why they would, seeing as how he’s a Democrat now), and thrown the election to the House, that chamber is controlled by the Republicans. read more

Colin Powell was once a big favorite of Republicans and Democrats and, at one point in time, was pushed strongly to run for President. He’s a retired four-star general in the U.S. Army and was the 65th U.S. Secretary of State. read more
