In Turkish schools we are taught that it was to protect the Turks and that Armenians killed our kin, in Armenia it is taught that Armenians faught for freedom and that Armenians are fully innocent and the evil is within the Turks. read more

They took a small rebellious independence movement (emphasis on small) and amplified it to exemplify why people should hate Armenians - that Armenians were ruining society, and that they must be eradicated. It is untrue that many people died on both sides. The numbers killed by Armenians are GREATLY exaggerated by Turkish people. read more
