Why do deer come out in the rain?

The main reason in my experience is that during the rain deer move from the woods to fields in order to stay safe. With the rain leaves don't crunch, sounds are muffled due to the rain falling, and the closeness of the woods means it's harder to spot danger. This is a great article. Hunting in the rain is my favorite time to be in the field hunting. There are many reasons for this. The deer seem to be up moving all day in my area. The rain drops make it to laud for the deer to be comfortable laying down in the thick regrowth so they will move around. read more
