There are nurses who earn more than a lot of medical doctors. Nurses can occupy positions of leadership and authority such as CNO (Chief Nursing Office), Directors, and CEOs to mention a few. And there are nurses who go all out of the way to own multi-million dollar investments or business enterprises. read more

Doctors have a higher salary than the nurses, mainly because of their education, title, and license. While this may be indulging disparity, that is how the world have went on in the past, and will always be in the future. read more

Nursing education is much more holistic than medical education, and they actually learn a lot more theory behind things like health education (which I guess explains why I rarely see doctors doing a good job at that, but that's why we have nurses filling that function). read more
