To summarize, Filipinos forget not the facts but the lessons to be learned from Philippine history because school does not emphasize these. Filipinos will never learn from school that our tendency to be divided among ourselves in the face of an oncoming enemy is what helped the Spaniards, Americans and Japanese to occupy us. read more
