Edit: According to eHow they are attracted to odor, lights and moisture, and they recommend changing your shampoo/conditioner to one with less of a scent. Also, discontinuing cologne or skincare products with a scent. I've always thought that when it was a single pesky gnat that they were attracted to the moisture on your eyes or in your mouth. read more
