After WW 1, large Hungarian lands were divided between nations, large part of Hungary all the sudden became part of Romania. Romanians did not like that Hungarians kept their culture, their language etc. So Romanians tried to force Hungarians, detached from the mother land, to speak Romanian. Hungarians are not Romanians, never will be. read more
