Why do most top scoring JEE students join IIT Bombay?

Most undergraduates at 12th standard (Atleast me and my friends) don't know what they want to do in life and then the college effect comes.I think that's the reason why for many years closing rank for any branch is far less in IIT Bombay as compared to other other IIT'S .It's not just the herd mentality .If it would have been ,the trend would have diminished over the years. read more

IIT Bombay is in Powai, a suburb of Mumbai. The nearest railway station is Kanjur Marg, from where you can take a bus / auto to reach the campus. It is still IIT Bombay, not IIT Mumbai. read more
