The vast majority of non-fiction is written in a boring, dry way, compared to popular fiction. But some non-fiction IS written the way popular fiction is, and it typically does quite well. Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood" and Norman Mailer's "The Executioner's Song" spring to mind. read more

So in comparison to Non Fiction, the Fiction novels sell more. I may be wrong but i think like this. In non fiction, you talk on a topic that will help you in real life, and real world complications but in Fiction, you work on a story, that is just an imagination, it can help you to improve your imagination but it may or may not help you to deal with real world problems, it may or may not increase your knowledge. read more
