I would be suspicious of people who deny the use of gas chambers in WWII. I would think that the majority of deniers are people who have a prejudice against the victims of the gas chambers. Why deniers, however, focus on gas chambers, doesn't make a lot of sense, either. read more
Another aspect was the risk of "generator gas poisoning" from the carbon monoxide content which was a real danger for drivers during WW2. A Swedish engineer, Axel Svedlund, designed a series of generators aimed for smaller cars which became quite common during WW2. read more
