I lived in Atlanta for 2.5 years and have a few friends who still live there. I see no reason to “hate” the city. Some may resent it, especially in the south, because there was a overbearing civic pride during the 80s. But hate is a strong word. It caught me a little off guard. I assume it was because they lived in a small town and Atlanta is the big city they have dealt with the most. I don't hate Atlanta, I hate the transplants that came for the hype and made the city wack. Atlanta started to become wack after Hurricane Katrina hit and the New Orleans people brought in the ratchetness to Atlanta. That's why I hate Clayton county so much. read more
