Why do people like NYU so much?

As NYU student I think people like NYU because of the location. Academically speaking NYU is hard, but not outstandingly hard and it does not have any thing too NYUish. However, the fact that NYU is in New York makes your assignment becomes more interesting. read more

NYU doesn’t have much of a campus, and random new yorkers intersect and share the same blocks that most students use. NYU also has many distinguished and famous alumni, both in academia and in entertainment. read more

The professors have extra ordinary credentials and approach and it is easy to gain exposure in finance. Given my opinion (B school is a very expensive socializing event), NYU has a very big location advantage. Then again, the school is not so reputed for a leadership consultancy (like HBS) or operations management (Ross) on the east coast. read more
