Even in the US, flushing toilet paper is a no-no in homes with septic tanks that aren't designed to decompose paper products. In China, the plumbing in recently-built urban areas is often up to the task of ferrying wads of paper around, but those new pipes may feed into older sewage systems on the way to their final destination (a waste treatment plant, if you're lucky). read more
One tip is in China if you were going to flush tp down the toilet, always flush your business away before you use toilet paper. That way if it gets blocked, at least it wont be mixed with your business when you have to unblock it. In fact, I am used to flushing for every time I throw toilet paper in as well just in case. read more
In China, Toilet paper and soap are not provided anywhere except four-five stars hotels . you can not find any toilet paper and soap from any public toilet. so you need take a notice that in advance. read more
