I think all of the ideas presented above are excellent and true. For me, though, this book reminds me of the power of the written word. If Anne Frank had not kept a diary, we would still know about the events of the Holocaust and we would still know that certain Jewish families were hidden by kind-hearted, humane, and sacrificial people. read more
