Why do recent mobiles do not have nfc?

I agree to other answers where it says the NFC technology is not yet picked up in India. It's very true. The basic reason behind that is; the NFC based solutions are not created for public to use in their day to day life. read more

Its a temporary time phase where mobile manufactures feels that NFC feature is not used and that's why it is removed from some of the phones. But giant players like Apple, Samsung, Google and Sony are still promoting NFC because NFC is the technology of future and its not going anywhere. read more

Motorola has confirmed to NFC World that its affordable Android smartphone, introduced in November 2013, does not have NFC. Apple’s iPhone, up to and including iPhone 5S. Like all of their predecessors, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C do not have NFC. read more
