Rap music is relatable because it reflects those awful, terrible, things. People can get out their frustration, pain, hate, or just plain anger with it. Tl:Dr- people hate on rap because it is offensive, uncreative, and plain bad. The same things can be found in ALL genres, but same with soulful, powerful, or downright genius songs. read more

People say all they do is talk bad about women, talk about drugs and killing people. And while that has some truth to it, you really only hear that in mainstream hip-hop songs. Like Lil' Wayne, or Gucci Mane, or any of that crap. read more
