Why do some tornadoes disappear and reappear suddenly?

I'm not quite certain what this question means. A tornado is inherently invisible, as the tornado is a process involving the winds in the (invisible) air. Tornadoes typically are associated with a funnel cloud, but not all tornadoes produce funnel clouds and so without a funnel, the tornado is invisible. read more

However, there is a modern trend going right now, where a man in a relationship will disappear completely for a period of time and then, in some cases, return when the lady least expects it (although in many cases he doesn't return at all). read more
