Why do we need to keep buying new iPhones every year?

Phones tend to look similar, just as laptops do. I've read this observation before, that Apple's phones look the same, moreso now that the iPhone 7s have the same form factor as the 6 and 6s phones do. My question in response is, does a smartphone line have to look radically different every year or two? read more

You don’t need to keep buying iPhones every year. Many people do because they like the new features or increased performance - if neither of those things are important to you, then there’s no need to upgrade. read more

I wouldnt buy an iphone every year, and also the apple stores there give you a nice buy back price if you give your old iphone back and buy a new one, its all a part of consumer retention. read more
