Why do you love lush green?

I love FUN, and think it is an awesome and ingenious product. That being said, there is one big con worth noting: bubbles just did not happen for me the way I wanted them to. First thing I did with FUN - unwrapped and played with it like I was 5 again. read more

They're better than a lot of cosmetic companies but they're definitely green-washed. I steer clear of Lush, basically because of the ingredients you listed above (sulfates, some unknown perfume source, etc.) (plus the smell of those products makes my brain hurt, and that's always a red flag). read more

Lush products need harsh preservatives (like parabens) because their products are mostly made of water. While we might read water and think, "Oh good, water is the most natural ingredient ever," it really means that the product requires strong preservatives to prevent molding. read more

LUSH usually doesn't do much packaging, but for the few products that they do, they have "not virgin" packaging—meaning that they are completely recycled plastic used to avoid unnecessary waste. You can even bring back your LUSH containers to any LUSH store to recycle. read more
