It doesn’t really have more extreme temperature swings than France. Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, et al., all have lower temperature variation than similarly sized France or Italy. read more
