There are many kinds of web, You can see some of them here: Spider web construction gallery (Samuel Zschokke) The spider web and thread. I didn't see mention of the kind of spider that makes a small webb that it can cast at insects, and the bolas spider that uses a large drop of sticky web substance at the end of a long link for prey capture. read more
