Why does France seem to be opposed to vegetarianism?

I don't think they are opposed to it. Yet. They simply haven't been much exposed to the fad (and yes, I said it, it's a fad). There are a couple of things though that will make it unlikely to be big: many people are vegetarian for religious reasons, but those religions don't have a strong presence in France. read more
