There is no Olympian Council in actual Greek Mythology, only in books that butcher the source material. As for why Hades would have an equal say among his fellow Olympians, well: He was every bit as instrumental in overthrowing Cronus as his siblings. read more
Best Answer: In some accounts Hades was considered one of the Twelve Olympians - Plato thought him to be one of them - but because of his chthonic associations (he was lord of the Underworld and most of his time was spent there) he got phased out by later writers. read more
