They don't. Nor vise versa. There was a “war” between the states a long time ago over Toledo! Hah! Okay, jokes aside, it was a valuable place back then. Michigan took the Upper Peninsula as recompense. Today, it's mostly ribbing. Ohio State hates University of Michigan as a modern re-framing of that silly rivalry. read more
