Why does my daughter's gymnastics gym smell like feet?

It isn't feet that you smell. What you actually smell is the humidity that has caused the glue on the carpet to smell. Take a piece of brand new carpet, soak it, let it dry, then smell it. There are things you can do to try to minimize the smell, such as deodorizers, we recently installed air conditioning, and got rid of much of the carpet that isn't actual equipment, (the gym smells much better now), but lots of moisture in the air from hard working kids it was causes the humidity. read more
