Why does Plymouth not get snow?

Plymouth is lower down and further south in latitude than other parts of the UK which means sadly we'd only get snow if it was coming from the North, or if there were ... Not to mention the fact that Plymouth sits protected by the higher moorland to the North, sheltering it from much of the really chilly weather. read more
