Why doesn't Hanoi have a nightlife?

I've only been in both cities for a week each. But what strikes me first is the fact that Hanoi has a Curfew around 11pm. Policemen go around the old town and the pubs have to close. Apparently it has become a little less strict but sitting in old town and drinking bia hoi will end at 11pm. read more

I don't know, maybe it's the culture. I'm a Hanoian, and I don't find hanging out in the bar and getting drunk a fun think to do. read more

Hanoi is a city with so many unique things to do at night, and is unlike any other capital in Southeast Asia or the even the world. read more
