Why doesn't Nike sponsor the UFC?

As William said, MMA is not a target demographic for Nike. Shoes make them the most money by far, and they make that money by putting it on basketball players and football players and then kids fall in love with it. read more

Reebok is the apparel sponsor for the UFC. Nike did sponsor Jon Jones at one point, but he was dropped due to legal issues. I have no idea if Nike were involved in the bidding for the contract that Reebok ended up getting, but I can only assume they didn't think it was a good enough marketing opportunity. read more
