Why doesn't Nintendo come up with new franchises?

Basically, Nintendo creates a new franchise when they come up with a new idea that doesn't really fit any of the ones they already have; with the numerous and varied franchises they have under their belt now, that doesn't happen often. read more

Nintendo doesn't have bad franchises. They might have some franchises that not everyone likes but as far as bad they just don't make them. They hold themselves to a higher standard. Jaysonguy. Nintendo doesn't have annual installments of its major franchises. Honestly you hear people talking about how much Nintendo 'milks' their franchises. (I would say that the "New" Super Mario Bros. series isn't so new anymore though). read more
