If you enter at the Porte de Lions or the Carrousel entrance there will be very short security lines usually. The Carrousel du Louvre is entered from the Metro line 1 Louvre stop (follow the signs to Carrousel du Louvre) and also from the stairs at the foot of the Tuilleries or entrances to the Mall by the Louvre. read more
