Why don't Australians celebrate Halloween?

I've traveled to the US plenty of times, but never on Halloween so I don't know how much of a pale imitation Halloween is in Australia: I wouldn't think movies/TV are much of a guide for either. But in the last 5 years or so it has hit its stride with many chain stores selling Halloween decorations and costumes and the supermarkets pumpkins for carving. read more
