Believe it or not, you always dream! this happens every night when your brain enters REM sleep (rapid eye movement) so you will only remember your dreams if you wake up during this REM stage. I am not sure why you don't dream while you are in those stages of sleep. Dreamless sleep is usually associated with deep sleep when your brain produces delta waves. If you do want to dream, you could try and listen to a binaural beat of the theta range. This may help to induce a lucid dream. read more
I have heard sleep meds don't put you in deep sleep and my Dr says no dreams mean I am getting good deep sleep. Also, I don't like to sleep more than 4 to 6 hours a night. I really miss not being able to have or remember dreams. read more
