There’s a reason why even highly prepared and experienced explorers died trying to reach the South Pole. There’s nothing there but snow and ice. Explorers can’t eat ice and neither can polar bears. We might consider putting polar bears on the coast of Antarctica though. read more

Actually neither penguins or polar bears live at the South Pole. It is too cold, too, high and too far inland to support any life. read more
