Why have there not been any Jewish US Presidents?

Mostly, no doubt, because Jews (still) make up a very small percentage of the population of the US. Although Jews have a certain political voice and represntation in the US, it has not been possible for a Jew to become a President in the US. A Black has become a US President now, so there is no reason for a Jew not to become a US president. read more

There have so far been no Jewish presidents of the USA. Even if she were to succeed in being elected to the presidency, Secretary Clinton would not be the first Jew in that office, since she is Methodist. read more
