Vermont is known for its maple syrup, in fact syrup from Vermont has its own grading system which is commonly thought to be better than general grade A syrup. Additionally the Maple Syrup Hall of Fame is in Vermont (I know, my grandfather is in it). Further maple syrup can come from most of the Northeast and much of the Midwest. read more
