This is one reason that some Kirkland Signature products vanish for a while or perhaps for good: Costco got such a good price on a national brand that it no longer fit their business model to carry a house brand version. read more
I totally agree. The manufacturer works with the specs that Costco supplies or agrees to for the product to be made. 2 different factories can make exactly the same product by the same spec/recipe if the capabilities allows them to. And only desperate manufacturer will produce store-brand product by the same spec as their brand name product. read more
