Denmark is considered a Scandinavian country, because for centuries, we pretty much defined the Scandinavian/Old Norse world. Denmark has an obviously Scandinavian culture, and we’ve always had it. We speak a language descended from Old Norse, we have a culture descended from that of the Norsemen, and we’ve pretty much established the trends throughout history that Sweden and Norway would then follow. read more
