The hotel "linen" in a new hotel will either come from a specialist laundry company which knows how to treat sheets to give the luxurious feel (ie - several good hard washes first), in which case they will be soft to the touch, or they will be new and a bit crisp for the first few times around the cycle. read more

soft may not always be the best ! long term Space age mattress seems to be the way to go. But expensive. I am just thinking of going the same way. A single foam, to try it !
