As this has happened in the movies I'm assuming your asking about in the comics. We'll I'm sure this has happened before in Xmen comics the thing is Pyro has been dead for quite some time while Iceman has been learning how to access and use his powers far more effectively. read more
I'd have to agree with Kevin I. on this. They have the character the same age (practically) as Kitty, yet Iceman was a founding member of the X-men in the comics and had years to perfect his powers. In normal Marvel continuity, he's a bit of a badass now. It's an extremely bad translation to film. read more
Iceman also developed as relationship with Kitty Pride (Ellen Page) in the third "X-Men" film. If Fox were to make a standalone Iceman movie, it would be interesting to see if they'd tie the new storyline into the film. Aside from Iceman, Ashmore also said he wouldn't mind taking a shot at playing Ghost Rider and seeing a new take on the superhero. read more
