Maybe it is because as we atheist say, the best and shortest way to atheism is reading bible cover to cover. We encourage people to read bible cover to cover but believers usually not, they rather want people to read something like gosples, letters and acts from NT and from OT genesis, psalms, proverbs and other less unpleasant parts. read more
