While not everyone likes Korean food, describing it as tasteless is preposterous. It’s just counter to fact. Unless you’ve only eaten lousy Korean food. In terms of intensity of flavor (and not just spiciness) Korean food is much more intense than Japanese. There really is no such thing as Chinese food. read more

Whilst studying at university in Japan as an international student, I had more than one experience of mistaking Chinese and Korean people for Japanese people and speaking Japanese to them. Usually, they were from China or Korea, totally new to Japan, and had to correct me. read more
