I am assuming, expensive for locals compared to the foreigners. This is because of the value of Nepal’s currency. It is weak compared to most of the currencies of the world. Since we import most of the goods, the exchange rate plays a bigger role for the thing being expensive in Nepal. We import most of our daily necessities goods from India. read more
I’d say Nepal is the best value overall, especially now that the dollar is worth even more. Prices are kind of hit and miss because Pokhara is more expensive than it should be and there are a lot of big money tourists in Kathmandu and heading to Everest. read more
