Try and always use instant-release methylphenidate products as the PK/PD parameters have not been completely established for methylphenidate and most extended-release formulations do not properly release enough of the drug for it to properly spike in plasma concentration. read more

If you felt 30 mg and especially 60 mg of Adderall XR did not work for you, you might want to ask your prescribing Dr. about Concerta or Ritalin instead. I have been on both Adderall & Ritalin but had quite different responses to each. read more
