Skype is working fine. Just got a skype enabled phone, and the sound quality is a bit distant, but much more convenient than the computer based headsets. Have heard that SKype is blocked in teh UAE though. read more

Popular video and voice calling service Skype has confirmed that it is now blocked in Qatar. In a post on its FAQ pages, the company said that usage of the app was being stopped by ISPs (internet service providers) in Qatar. read more
