Assuming you mean “…than other parts of the UK”? In fact, although it is warmer than many parts of the UK in the summer on average, it can also be colder during the winter (although not as snowy as other places). read more

SE England such as the Garden of Kent is warmer because: -a) it is further South and nearer the equator than the rest of England. b) it is closer to the Continental Europe heat source. c) the main prevailing winds in Summer are South Westerly so they have deposited their rain over the West Country and warmed up overland before reaching the South East. read more

When its summer places like London and areas in the south east are usually hotter than south western parts of England. I live in south west and it is hot in summer usually but London is like 5 degrees warmer or more. read more
